What is Equine Massage?

and why on earth is it necessary?!

The horses body is a complex system of cells, connective tissues, joints, muscles, and so forth. When any one part of the horse becomes off balanced it can cause a myriad of effects on the surrounding  systems that allows their bodies to function as a whole. Whether it be roping, ranching, or barrel racing, you require your horse to deliver for you. When your equine pal is in pain they aren't able to obtain the optimum level of performance you require. That's where I come in! I provide the therapy your horse needs for YOU to get your job done well and right. Massage promotes circulation, relieves tension and stress, reduces swelling, eases pain, and most importantly helps improve recovery and prevent injuries.

Why Massage?

Why Massage?

It can help with

Coffee in Nature
Preformance

Stabilize joints, improve performance recovery, and alter negative muscle memory.

Fatigue

Promotes the healing process by increasing the nutrient flow to the muscles. Which intern increases the blood flow.

Detoxification

Aids in removing build up of toxins and lactic acid.

The Whole Horse

Your horses whole body, mind, and soul are an intricate web of connections, one not being able to properly function without the other. Massage works in reducing pain and tension. It promotes healing and improves their range of motion.

Multi-faceted System

The Lymphatic system is fundamental to both the health of the cells and the fluid balance within the horses body. Massage helps to drain that system reducing swelling and balancing the connective tissue.

Stress

Not only emotional stress, but physical stress. Massage stimulates circulation by relaxing the muscles thereby releasing endorphins- which is the body's natural pain killers!

BEYOND THE PASTURE

some (un)common sense ,equine information, and the "manure" in-between!

for the six- shooters, saddle bums, and the cold-backed. (And I'm not talkin' about just the horses)
